1/2 pack of Mexican HarvBest® Avocado Pulp (227g pack)
1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup tahini
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings: drizzle of olive oil, paprika, chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro)
Instructions:
Pour the Avocado Pulo into a food processor.
Add the chickpeas, minced garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to the food processor.
Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water or more lemon juice to reach your desired consistency.
Taste and adjust with more salt and pepper if needed.
Once it´s smooth and well mixed, transfer it to a serving bowl.
Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with paprika or chopped fresh herbs for added flavor and presentation.
Serve the Avocado Hummus with pita bread, vegetable sticks, crackers, or as a spread on sandwiches.
Feel free to get creative by adding extra ingredients like roasted red peppers, cumin, or even a touch of chili for a unique twist on this classic recipe.
